Book of Mormon Central teamed up with artist Katie Payne to create a beautiful and engaging video called the "The Story of the Book of Mormon: The Plates of Mormon." Using only the text of the Book of Mormon as the narration, get a glimpse of the father/son relationship between Mormon and Moroni, as they strive to pass the plates along to where we have it today as the Book of Mormon.

And now I, Mormon, being about to deliver up the record which I have been making into the hands of my son Moroni, behold I have witnessed almost all the destruction of my people, the Nephites. And it is many hundred years after the coming of Christ that I deliver these records into the hands of my son; and it supposeth me that he will witness the entire destruction of my people (Words of Mormon 1:1–2).

And now I, Mormon, proceed to finish out my record (Words of Mormon 1:9). Written to the Lamanites, who are a remnant of the house of Israel; and also to Jew and Gentile ... Written and sealed up, and hid up unto the Lord, that they might not be destroyed ... Sealed by the hand of Moroni, and hid up unto the Lord, to come forth in due time by way of the Gentile (Title Page).

Behold I, Moroni, do finish the record of my father, Mormon (Mormon 8:1). Behold, my father hath made this record, and he hath written the intent thereof (Mormon 8:5). Which is to show unto the remnant of the house of Israel what great things the Lord hath done for their fathers; and that they may know the covenants of the Lord, that they are not cast off forever—And also to the convincing of the Jew and Gentile that Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God, manifesting himself unto all nations—And now, if there are faults they are the mistakes of men; wherefore, condemn not the things of God, that ye may be found spotless at the judgment-seat of Christ (Title Page).

And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost (Moroni 10:4).
