Nephite and Mulekite groups existed for several centuries on the American continent, presumably interacting with different peoples and languages, before merging into Nephite society. Finding significant elements of two distinct Semitic and an Egyptian infusion is truly fascinating, both from a purely academic perspective but especially for students of the Book of Mormon.
